We are pleased to inform you that registration is open for the ECBA Autumn conference in Luxembourg, Luxembourg on 2 and 3 October 2015. The title of the conference is:
Criminal Justice: Jurisprudence of the European Court of Justice – Today and Future
Criminal Justice: EU Legislation and Implementation: The Presidency of Luxembourg
Mutual Legal Assistance – Panel
A reception will be held on Friday 2 October at the Cour Supérieure de Justice from 18.30 to 20.30. The conference will start on Saturday 3 October at the Court of Justice of the European Union in the morning (registration and security check from 8.45 am) and will end approximately at 17.30. The conference will be followed by an apéro at the Fins Vins at 19.00 and a dinner (optional) at the restaurant Le Sud at 20.00. A walking sightseeing tour has been organised on Sunday 4 October starting at 10.30. The draft programme and detailed practical information are attached and are also available on our website.
Registrations
As the conference will take place at the Court of Justice of the EU a list of delegates has to be sent in advance as all visitors to the CJEU need to undergo a standard security check before entering. Therefore fields have been added to the registration form asking for your date of birth and if you have an ID or passport. You will need to bring your passport/ID card on Saturday to enter the building.

The ECBA has reserved some rooms at the Melia Hotel. Rooms are available at the rates below until 2 September 2015. After this date the hotel will release the rooms and booking will be subject to availability. Please use the form (attached) to book. The ECBA cannot take responsibility for the standard of service or accommodation at the hotel. Early booking is recommended.
Programme – Recent developments
To conclude the programme a representative from a number of jurisdictions will give short (5 minutes) updates of key developments in their national criminal law relevant to practitioners in other jurisdictions. Delegates who are interested in speaking should contact the secretariat.
