We strive to establish a culture of peaceful and amicable dispute resolution, while contributing to potentially reducing the burden on courts.

ARTICLE 1 PROVIDES

The aim of this law is to facilitate access to alternative dispute resolution and to promote the peaceful settlement of disputes by promoting the use of mediation and ensuring a balanced relationship between mediation and court proceedings.

When we established the Commission for the Permanent Training of Lawyers in the Board of the Bar Association of Slovenia (OZS) in June 2012, we envisioned the continuous compulsory training and education of lawyers as a far-reaching goal, the realization of which we took very seriously. We wanted to design and create really quality education so that it could become compulsory and permanent.
